Feature focus: Supplier On & Off

Ensuring that repair jobs are matched to the right suppliers is critical to maintaining operational efficiency in your repair process. However, suppliers may occasionally be unavailable for one reason or another. Without a quick and easy way to (temporarily) exclude these suppliers, your repair jobs may end up being assigned to unavailable suppliers, resulting in operational issues.

That's where our Supplier On & Off feature comes in.

What does this feature entail?

As part of Repair Manager, the Supplier On & Off feature helps you manage your supplier network by activating and deactivating suppliers with just a single click.

This feature is especially useful when:

  • A supplier’s certification has expired.

  • A supplier’s facilities are closed (e.g., for equipment maintenance, personnel training, audits, etc.).

  • A supplier’s contracts are under negotiation.

When a supplier is deactivated, they are automatically excluded from the distribution process, meaning they will no longer be available for drivers to select during the First Notice of Loss (FNOL). This ensures that only available suppliers are matched with repair jobs.

Why This Matters

By using the Supplier On & Off, you can:

  • Maintain smooth operations: Ensure repair jobs are always assigned to suppliers who are available.

  • Prevent errors in repair assignment: Avoid mismatches and reduce rework by excluding unavailable suppliers.

  • Save time on manual oversight: Quickly update supplier status in real time with just one click.

Ensure every repair job goes to readily available suppliers with the Supplier Switch

With the Supplier On & Off, you are in full control of your repair network — activating and deactivating suppliers in real time ensures that every repair job is directed to the right supplier, operational issues are prevented, and your repair workflow runs smoothly.
